Falz has created a rather impressive niche for himself in the Nigerian entertainment industry.

Not only does he make amazing music, but he’s also a formidable presence in the film industry, with two AMVCAs under his belt.

Now, the talented performer has gotten another high honour, as he’s been named the highest grossing Nollywood actor of 2018.

Cinema culture is growing in Nigeria, and fans of the big screen do not hold back when a new Nollywood film is released.

This is evident in the box office numbers we’ve seen recent films doing, and based on that, we’ve just got a ranked list of the 10 highest grossing Nollywood actors.

According to the list, collated by the Cinema Exhibitors Association of Nigeria, Falz was 2018’s most bankable star, appearing in three films — New Money, Merry Men & Chief Daddy — that grossed over ₦5oo million.
