Mikel Arteta has refused to confirm or deny if Matteo Guendouzi has a long-term future at Arsenal.
A report in France on Friday morning has claimed that the Gunners have told the 21-year-old that he will be allowed to leave the club if they receive a €40million (£36.3m) offer.
This rumour came hot on the heels of Guendouzi being left out of the 20-man matchday squad for the 2-0 win over Southampton at St Mary’s on Thursday evening.
Speaking ahead of the FA Cup quarter-final tie against Sheffield United, Arteta once again reiterated that the club will deal with Guendouzi following his incident with Neal Maupay last weekend.
“Whatever internal issues we have we will deal with privately,” the Spaniard told reporters.
But will Guendouzi definitely be an Arsenal player next season?
